A very good assessment

The Board of Directors of the Sophia Antipolis Foundation assessed very positively the first developments of the Knowledge and Technologies Research Foundation launched in June 2005. The expected commitment of the organizations identified to support this new Foundation should be able to develop this project according to the roadmap established by Nathalie Van de Wiele.
A promising first group of supporting organizations

Several companies and institutions have already confirmed their support for the Knowledge and Technologies Research Foundation. This quite promising start leads to an even stronger confidence in the expected development of the Foundation’s research programme, and in the amount of resources the Foundation will be able to mobilize in the short to medium terms.
Creation of a dedicated Knowledge and Technologies fund

A fund devoted to Knowledge and Technologies has recently been created by the Sophia Antipolis Foundation. This represents a first, very major, step in the development of the Knowledge and Technologies Research Foundation. Recently installed on the premises of the Sophia Antipolis Foundation, the Knowledge and Technologies Research Foundation can now start its action plan.
